Kansas City's well known for electing amateurs to run for the core city in this metro. We've had a string of em and this guy probably has zero government or leadership experience.
Alford? Why not? He's got name recognition but that's about it. Tony will probably eat his lunch before he gets far. Anybody who wants a qualified mayor will fund one, and most anybody with any civil service experience should be better than a TV morning anchor at a fourth rated station. Don't ya figure? Who was that guy who moved back east and ran over and over, was the laughing stock of the politicos and bloggers, and then he kinda just disappeared into oblivion? Replies:
