That's similar to my </sarcasm> proposal for paramedics to deliver people without health insurance to the mortuary instead of the hospital ED's!
That'll get medicare for all passed quickly. Most Americans are tired of paying the medical bills of the poor and cheapasses who elect not to buy insurance through Obamacare until they get pregnant or have kids.
Medicare should simply be have their worker deductions (already based on income) quadrupled and if that upsets people, rename them Medicare PREMIUMS.
And if employers want to keep making health care a benefit, then just have them pay the higher deduction.
And certainly allow Medicare to negotiate with big pharma or let us buy overseas, which will cut all our costs. Replies: There have been no replies.
