~ never ever mistake her silence for weakness.

Brows knit together over deep brown eyes - she can feel the tension radiate from her lovers body - it permeates the air around them, thick and suffocating. She understood the reason behind his constant circling and nervous glances around all of them. She understood the precarious situation they all found themselves in. Cain is gone - the kind hearted vanner King - had left them all, and in his absence stepped a woman who made Dhaniyā's skin crawl beneath her intense gaze.

A breath lingers on her dark lips as she wraps her slender neck across Aaslan's narrow back. "Tamam küçüğüm," she whispers into the wisps of his dark mane. She breathes deeply. And then draws her gaze toward Rom, who now slows his constant pacing to pause momentarily and bury his muzzle against her neck. Her ears curve elegantly together as a smile creeps across her lips.

There is a moment when she casts her gaze toward Cerosi, she knew the girl missed Cain as much as they did, but she was glad that she had decided to leave the desert with them. She quiet enjoys her company.

But then she draws her gaze back to Rom, " Come now. Rest, my love," she whispers and tilts her brilliant brown eyes up to gaze into his.

She knew that it was too much for her to ask, especially with the season that now presents itself before them - more like an unwelcome guest than a invited lover. She knew that the scents that linger in the chilly Autumn air were tantalizing and drove her lover into a frenzy. He knew what this season meant just as much as she did. She could feel it in the urge to feel his muzzle against her and to feel his tender embrace. But there was danger, it creeps in the darkness, ever watching and waiting.

"Baba," Aaslan pipes up and draws her from her dark thoughts, her ears sweep together as the boy steps away from her side, takes a few steps and wiggles his body into the space between his dad and mom. "I'm cold," he whispers as he presses the length of his body into his parents.

He fidgets for a few moments as finally sleep overcomes him and his eyes gently close.

A hesitant smile tugs at her dark lips as she slightly tilts her head toward Rom. "Is this what you expected being a father would be like?" she asks gently. In all their time together, they had spoke little of his father, and she knew better than to pry into personal matters of the heart.
