Well I'm more pragmatic than that. I want my votes to help move the country forward so I have ALWAYS thought of my vote as being a decision about choosing the BETTER, or at least the LEAST OFFENSIVE likely winner of the two.
A third party vote IMHO, helps to vote for the worse of the two major candidates, given that the demagogues usually win the popular vote.
The other thing I'd like to see you defend is why you have stereotyped the Dems (who I call the ANTI-Corporatist party) a 'welfare party'?
My view is they arnet the welfare party as much as they are the ones fighting to stop the Wealthy party' from raping the masses because they have the power to do it.
