For Americans the worst disaster after a year with President Biden is inflation. Americans realize that the root cause of inflation is government policies, which have changed since he took office. The details of printing too much money, introducing new energy regulations, and so on ad nauseam are mere factors in the overall cause. The only way to reduce inflation to manageable numbers is to change these inflationary policies. This the President Biden’s administration is unwilling to do. He has three more years in office, so the earliest date to override his policies is January 2023 when a new Congress convenes under a Republican majority. A simple majority is not enough. The laws making changes would be vetoed. The majority has to be enough to override Biden’s vetoes, which means two-thirds majority in both the Senate and the House. If the Congressional election in 2022 doesn’t result in these majorities, then inflation caused by Biden’s policies will be with us until at least January 2025. Replies: There have been no replies.
