Remember Nancy Culp? Jane Hathaway, on “Beverly Hillbillies”? She was on “Perry Mason” last night. Per the computer, the PM episode was a 1959-vintage show. “Hillbillies” was 1962 to 1971, so that means Culp started on BH shortly after her PM appearance.
“Perry Mason” is seldom really watchable; same basic story, every night. How it was on for nine seasons (September, 1957 – May, 1966) I’ll never know, but for me, it fills the TV screen between the end of the 10 o’clock news and “Twilight Zone”/”Alfred Hitchcock.”
And, there’s occasionally someone worthy of a trivia note, like Nancy Culp, on “Perry Mason.”
