Boss's Decree

"For every brother you bring to our
midst, you may keep a trinket all to
yourself. She will not be sullied or traded, unless you deem otherwise. But should you bring a mare here without a new brother first, then I will consider her property of the Lagoon as a whole
and do with her as I see fit." - Garmr

Rules

• The Lagoon is where homeless stallions come to live as a brotherhood. Mares may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Soldiers keep mainly to fighting, Thieves keep mainly to raiding, and Associates may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Marauder or Boss for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Boss maintains order within the Lagoon and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Lagoon works on the Rules page.

• Upon election, the Boss can issue a rule for members to follow during their tenure. It is up to leadership to enforce.

turn men into beasts

Perhaps Tyr should have taken offense to Oswin being impressed that he wasn’t a monster and did truly have a goal. It would have kept his head on straight rather than falling into the beautiful color of her eyes, or how she was looking at him too. Taking a step closer to the Peak mare, wrapping himself further into her lovely perfume of crisp mountain and warmth that was all her own, he cannot help but find a smirk tugging at the corner of his lips. If she continued her persistence of justice, Tyr was sure that she would prevail. That she would continue to hear the stories she wanted, driving away the darkness that lived in all stallions, whether they knew it or not. But the way she sounded as she asked for his name only helped to chase away the sense he had tried to keep in her presence.

“Tyr.” he answered, his voice a pitch lower, deeper, almost a growl with the gruffness that laced that single word. The General knew he should excuse himself while he still could. To tell the mare to have a safe visit, before he escaped while in good standing with the Peak. But instead, he found himself inching another step closer to her, his ears tipping forward as his proud arched neck lowered his head some so that he could offer his muzzle in proper greeting that he had not given when he had first arrived. Exchanging breaths with her only fueled the fire, stoking the burning embers in his loins he dared not think too hard about.

“You came here to see more of the Lagoon, did you not? Let us take a walk, but then I’d like to see your home too.” Tyr cannot help but say. If it was true, he would see no prettier sight than from the ledges of the Valkyries home. Hopefully this thin thread he was walking wouldn’t snap so soon that the mountainside view was the last he would see.
