Tyr cannot help but be surprised to her askance, rather than be annoyed to his presence. Perhaps Oswin was not the only one that expected the typical response of their neighbors; judging by titles given and the choice of home, instead of leaving it open and waiting to see. “I do not mind company.” Tyr replied. Actually, he was grateful for it. Though his thoughts still ran loose and unchecked, at least they were focused on more than just his children, like some old herd stallion might.
“It feels like so much happens in just a day.” Tyr agreed, knowing it must seem like a lot since she had been back in less than a year. The stallion felt like more was coming though. The islands were changing, like a sea receding and leaving it calm before it comes crashing in to destroy everything that wasn’t prepared. Tyr wanted to be prepared, although he wasn’t exactly sure what he was preparing for. Where ever that thought was going, it quickly did a u-turn for the mare’s next question.
“That question could be taken many different ways.” The stallion pointed out.“What I am in title, and what I am to the brotherhood, well, I’m sure not one would give the same answer.” The large stallion couldn’t help the heavy sigh that escaped his lips. Such unrest in the Lagoon, Tyr wished he could fix it. Wished that he knew a solid answer so that he could fight for it until he had it. But this wasn’t something he would use brute force to obtain, and it felt like he was making all the wrong choices to find the single right one. “I’m the General.” Tyr offered, since that was the only solid answer he could give.
