Fuck off. Somebody else made it a thing. I agree it wasn't worth as much bandwidth as it was given, but if you're gonna get anal, isn't the Central Kansas board shut down? Besides that, radio's boring which is why nobody talks about it much. Anything interesting in Lawrence? I'm not sure I ever actually heard a station there, so I presume not a lot of money comes in to support seasoned staff. Oh I take it back, I've listened quite a bit to KANU, except when they're begging for money. That slow female talking over-pro-Nnouncer's been there since forever. Is she tenured faculty, or paid staff? She did manage to get rid of her KY accent, which is good.
I'm a little surprised they call out all those state call letters... were it me, I'd just whip through morse code at the top of the hour and just call it the same moniker all over the state. Surely residents know their nearest strong signal. (thank you.) Replies:
