Super Wild Card Games

The NFL and network television are always trying to figure out how to make boatloads of money, while paying players and coaches the ridiculous amounts of money they’re paid.

Some bright light – probably the same asshole at ESPN who decided to show re-runs of every football game since the days of Knute Rockne – decided to have SUPER Wild Card Games!!!

The twelve teams in the Sat-Sun-Mon Super Wild Card Games showed us that at least three of those teams really weren’t “super” enough to have been playing in that playoff series, but - - - the networks made their big money.

I’m guessing the ads shown in the wipe-out SWC games will be tougher to sell next season, but who knows? It wouldn’t surprise me if there are fourteen teams playing seven games in next year’s Super Duper Wild card Games.
