Megtrends in the digital age

A lot of people are working fm home and thats good since we have the technology to do it.

Fast internet, fast enough for live video; most data input is digital which can be done anywhere, and monitored by supervisors. Two phone lines via internet is pretty inexpensive and you can deduct part of your home office and your equipment. And watch the kids when they're on quarantine. Seems pretty inefficient to gather office workers at a centrl downtown location, pay rent, same site networking, lunch breaks et al.

A year ago Entercom proved even broadcasting can be done remotely and the news networks have video quality interviews from people's houses every hour of the day.

Would you accept a 20 pct pay cut if you didn't have to drive to work, suit up in officeware, and be away from the kids a third of your day?

Programmers have been doing it for decades, writing code and uploading it to servers from home. Its generally solitary work. Lots of online instruction in all walks of life.

And digital quality radio! The only tme I listen to real radio is in the car; I'm very surprised the news networks dont have blowtorch AM signals in every market in the country.
