I could never see much reason for a KC Times and a KC Star. They were pretty much the same thing, the same news.
I could pick up the KC Times on my lawn in the morning, read it at lunchtime at work, and have everything I needed to know about news for the greater metro.
I might have read the New York Times or the Wall Street Journal for specific stories, but I didn't have much use for an out-of-town newspaper. Replies:
