Saw a video on Chanel 9 on a Army Chopper rescue at Bungalwalbon, a little flood prone farm area. The Crewie was dressed in full gear including webbing the only thing missing was a weapon. He lowered to the roof , unhooked, fell down the roof into the water. A fellow in a tinnie just happened to be there, luckily, and with much effort was able to get him into the tinnie then landed him back on the roof. The Crewie then hooked up a person and himself and signaled for lift. As the lift commenced both of them collided with a very high TV antennae so they descended again, checked out for injuries , all ok then were winched to safety. My mind boggles at the amount of combat gear, webbing, that the poor man was wearing. No tinnie No crewie. Replies:
