This is where you need to post to officially put yourself on away. If you are going to be away from the site or unable to post regularly for an extended period of time, you may go on away for up to one month, during which your characters will be protected from things like battles, raids and escapes. After this you and your characters will be considered inactive, and you will need to rejoin should you return.

For the sake of clarity, please clearly state 'away' or 'semi-away' in the subject line of your post, and make a new post stating 'back' on your return. While you are away you cannot post in-character, and any in-character posts will be classed as you returning and your characters will no longer be protected from that point.

You may also let us know here that you are 'semi-away', meaning posts from you will be slow, but all normal rules still apply to you.

If you wish to quit the game, please leave us a message here to let us know, though be aware that any characters without lineage (i.e. those who were not born or bred in-game) will be deleted from the Members page. All other characters will be listed as inactive unless you request for them to be deleted.

Suggestion: character rumors board!

I was inspired by a meme about a DM having their players come up with rumors for their characters, and after joking about it for a while in the TLI discord, me and some other players think it might actually be a fun thing to do for our characters here!

My idea: a new discord channel for pinned messages, and a thread from that for players. Players can post their own characters they want to hear rumors about in the thread, and fellow players can post good or bad rumors about that character (either totally made up, or based on an IC interaction, as long as it�s not violating TLI rules). The player of that character can keep or discard rumors (maybe using reactions?) and decide if they�d like the rumor to be true by putting it in a backstory or playing it out, or decide if it�s untrue and have their character deal with the consequences of a false rumor, good or bad. Basically, players can use rumors for whatever they�d like in terms of character development or plots! And if mods or even just players are up for it, they can pin a message with character names and the player-chosen rumors to be circulated about them! That way, players can look at the pinned messages for inspiration, muse, even a little extra excitement for specific character interactions and character impressions. My idea was for it to be mostly player-run, not very complicated, and totally voluntary. Just a fun way to help characters and relationships develop!
