They had all left her alone in a place full of strangers. Everyone seems nice enough, but Vána didn't really know anyone even after living here over a year. Most of it was her fault because she was afraid to make friends only to be abandoned like her own family has done. Persephone and the others seemed nice enough, but she was afraid to get close to them. It made it worse when Windfola suddenly left. Even Felaróf has dissapeared now! Days, weeks, honestly who knows how long it has been...she has been alone. Just then, a familiar voice calls to her from the sea. Vána turns to see not only her brother, but her sister reaching the beach.

Her legs carry her frantically towards them as tears rush down her cheeks. "Where have you two been!?" She screams and thirsts herself into her brother as he stands on the Forest's shoreline. Vána presses her forehead into his chest as she sobs. "I'm so sorry I didn't tell you I was leaving sis. I was coming back to tell you I found a new home for us, but then I decided I couldn't do it." Felarof begins to explain where he has been the last few weeks. Vána pulls away from him with swollen eyes to look at him. "What do you mean? You could have told me before you left!" She yells. "At least Windfola said goodbye before she left!" Vána turns towards her sister who remains quiet behind Felaróf. The young stallion lowers his head.

"It was a terrible idea...I'm sorry." He wonders if he could exactly explain why he left without saying goodbye. He wanted to see if he was ready to become a leader on his own before bringing her along. He wanted to be sure he could protect Vana and be sure being a land owner was what he wanted. Turns out he wasn't sure what he wanted at all. Except for the fact he wanted to be near the last of the family he was close to. The last of their father's legacy. But was the Forest truly right for them? There was nothing wrong with the residents here and he understood exactly why father had sent them here so long ago. Roheryn was long gone now so it was time they made their own choices. Find where they truly belonged.

Vána sighs heavily. "You can tell us more about it later brother. I'm glad you're safe." She nuzzles her brother with another heavy sigh before turning to Windfola. Her sister jumps a little like Vána's stare has startled her. "What's up with you? Why are you so jumpy?" Vána stares at her sister with suspicion. Unlike Felaróf, Windfola wasn't in as much trouble with her because she has told her sister her intentions before she left. She had promised to visit so seeing her return was something Vána has been expecting for awhile now. "Good to see you well sister," Felaróf says as he touches his muzzle to Windfola in a greeting. A soft smile is shared by Windfola, but she is silent. Watching her, the siblings just know something is going on with their sister. Plus, Vána can tell the difference in her body. Something has happened.

"Has something happened in your travels? Did you find something" Vána has no idea what it could be that would leave Windfola looking so different. There was hurt in her eyes...Windfola sighs. "I did something that shames my family, but I had no choice." The siblings stare at their sister in confusion. They were through the silence until Windfola was ready to speak again. "Last fall I fell into the trap of courtship. It wasn't exactly his fault, I allowed it to happen, but I birthed a child." Vána's mouth opens to speak, but Fela stops her with a touch to the shoulder. He can see Windfola was still struggling to find the right words to tell them her side of the story. "I-I can't be a mother, Windfola's lip is quivering as she speaks. Vána steps closer and noses her shoulder in comfort. "I'm really not good at it. I'm too young." Her eyes close.

"Where is your child Windfola? Did something happen-" Windfola cut her brother off with a shake of her head. "The filly is fine. She is healthy, but I left her back with her father in the Badlands." The Badlands...the other two gasp. "That stallion that claimed our home! Is this who the sire is? Is it Windfola!" Vána shouts in her sister's face as she tries to put the pieces together. Windfola only takes a step back with her ears pinning. Felarof uses his neck to pull Vana back. "Calm down sister. Let Windfola tell us the rest." He could tell there was more coming. Probably more than he wanted to hear. His solemn blue eyes return to Windfola as she tries to peel her angry eyes away from Vána to look at their brother. "There is a bit more," she says. "I couldn't do it. Rafe is taking care of our daughter while I continue my travels."

Vána lunges towards her sister as Windfola speaks and races back to the sea. "Stop it!" Felaróf pleads his sister's to stop fighting as he chases after Vána to stop her. He manages to slide his body between the two of them, nearly chest deep in the ocean. Vána pushes against her brother, but he is able to keep her back as their sister flees. Windfola was growing further away from the Forest as Vána screams at her across the sea. "How dare you! You know how we grew up! We promised to always be there for each other! We promised to never abandon someone like our parents did! How dare you" Vána screams until Windfola could no longer be seen among the waves.
