CHARITABLE ADVERTISING on Web Site There are many worthwhile charitable causes in existence, but we can only accept sponsorship or fundraising efforts on Fusilier Association websites, that specifically support approved Fusilier charities. This essentially means that it is acceptable to use these pages to seek sponsorship for The Fusiliers Aid Society (which includes Fallen Fusiliers), and The Fusilier Memorial fund only. We now have our own dedicated justgiving site (http://www.justgiving.com/fusiliersaidsociety), which you can use to help raise money for your cause. If you let RHQ (Asst Regt Sec) know the specific cause you are raising money for, it will be directed to the correct fund. Messages soliciting sponsorship for causes or charities other than the Fusilier ones mentioned above should not be placed on the message board and may be removed by the Webmaster. THE ROYAL FUSILIERS MEMORIAL CHAPEL COMMITTEE
invites attendance at
The Sixth Annual Memorial Lecture,
on Wednesday 11th May 2022 � starting at 6.30pm

The lecture will be held in the Church of Holy Sepulchre London EC1
(at the junction of Holborn Viaduct and Giltspur Street),
and on Zoom when
Lieutenant Colonel Keith Kiddie, Lieutenant Colonel James Sayer and Captain Nathan Morley will speak on

�Fusiliers in Ukraine 1990-2020�

Keith Kiddie was commissioned into the Royal Regiment of Fusiliers in 1975. He first visited Ukraine on military duty in 1990. He commanded 5th Battalion, Royal Regiment of Fusiliers, 1994-1996 and in 1996-2001 was engaged on armaments control verification in the former Warsaw Pact countries. He retired from the Army in 2009 and is now a County Councillor in Norfolk.

Lieutenant Colonel James Sayer was commissioned into the Royal Regiment of Fusiliers in 1987. After service at regimental duty, including time with the Sultan of Muscat�s Armed Forces, he was an Arms Control and Verification Inspector in the former Soviet Union which included frequent visits to Russia and Ukraine. He left the Army in 2012 and joined the Foreign, Commonwealth and Overseas Development Office. He was seconded to the Organisation for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) between 2015 and 2020 and all of this time was spent in Eastern Ukraine. He is now a consultant for the Foreign, Commonwealth and Overseas Development Office.

Captain Nathan Morley was commissioned into the Royal Regiment of Fusiliers in 2016. He spent two months in Ukraine in 2017, and another two months in 2018 as part of a UK mission for training soldiers of the Ukrainian Army. He is now Regimental Adjutant, Royal Regiment of Fusiliers, based in London.

Those wishing to attend in person or participate on Zoom are asked to send their names by e-mail to mjd451@gmail.com by Wednesday 4th May saying whether they would attend at the church, or on Zoom only. Bids and method of attendance will be confirmed, but no hard-copy or electronic tickets will be issued.
