Don't go crying to your momma

cause you're on your own in the real world

It was just by chance that she found the Inlet rather empty. Some members of the last herd remained, but she assumes that was only to make sure their leader was truly gone. It was no matter what they decided to do now, but she wouldn't mind the extra company in the bitter cold of Tinuvel. Winter would be here soon so she would provide anyone who stays a safe place for whoever long they liked. Though she might need to watch her tongue about the last owner. Parvati knew very little of Bjorn, but she did not know him to be the respectable sort. Of course her information comes from a scorned woman and two of his sons, mainly one, who were forgotten by their father.

Thankfully, Parvati was not one to run around spreading gossip. She had no desire to speak ill words to the previous herd, but she did wish to meet them. Making new friends was lot of fun! She needed some new fun things in her life after what happened in the Prairie. Her last memories of her precious Thicket was ruined! Not only just finding out Orphiel was her relative, but having that stupid stallion swoop in and try to take her home away. He was just lucky she couldn't bear to be alone in the Thicket right now. All those memories ruined! Poor Devi was forced to leave the only home she has known to brace the cold of Tinuvel.

She would learn quickly as Tinuvel flows deep in her veins as it does her mother. Devi will be okay. The young mare smiles down at her daughter as she shows her around the Inlet. Parvati has not been here herself, but mother has told her stories about this part of the island. There was a lot of her family history created here so she intended to continue the tradition with the family she might also make here. Parvati's ears perk as the sound of another reaches them. She can see a slender mare in the distance and a child running away from her. "Let's go say hello Devi." Parvati whisks her child away who excited bounces beside her mother.

A simple call of greeting is sent to the ebony mare before they draw closer. Parvati didn't wish to startle the mare before she even got to say hello! The classic champagne slows her gait the closer she gets until she was within speaking distance. "Hello! Are you from the previous herd?" She was quick to ask before she was even close enough to take in all the details of the mare’s face. Once she was just a few steps away, Parvati stops and flashes the mare a bright smile. Devi grins beside her mother, but her eyes wonder to the place the other filly ran off to. "My name is Parvati de Solomon and this is my daughter Devi." Her tail flips with excitement to make a new friend.
