Boss's Decree

"For every brother you bring to our
midst, you may keep a trinket all to
yourself. She will not be sullied or traded, unless you deem otherwise. But should you bring a mare here without a new brother first, then I will consider her property of the Lagoon as a whole
and do with her as I see fit." - Garmr

Rules

• The Lagoon is where homeless stallions come to live as a brotherhood. Mares may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Soldiers keep mainly to fighting, Thieves keep mainly to raiding, and Associates may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Marauder or Boss for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Boss maintains order within the Lagoon and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Lagoon works on the Rules page.

• Upon election, the Boss can issue a rule for members to follow during their tenure. It is up to leadership to enforce.

turn men into beasts

As Dara stands, something wicked twists inside Tyr. He struggles with it. The want; the need to strike down the mare in violence. To latch upon her skin with his teeth like a rabid wolf, or to feel his hooves connect to her flesh. It would not be the first time he had acted in such a cruel way towards the viper woman. Nor would it be the first time she had acted that way towards him in kind. He should leave her behind, or drive her from the lagoon so that she could not poison what had been set in motion. Yet, Tyr cannot find the strength to do so. Something has struck him, something much more sinister than what he was already feeling. There is nothing left to take she claims, but Tyr does not feel as if she is meaning her body.

Before Tyr can demand answers from the mare, she is moving closer. He remains still, cautious, and somewhat baffled by the affectionate touch. To feel her muzzle brush so lovely across his skin without the burn of pain following leaves him feeling strange; lost in the chaos of his mixed feelings. It is short lived, as true to her nature, Dara can not stand to be so gentle. Every muscle in his body wants to pull away. To retreat from her attack to make it stop, but Tyr had long ago learned to ignore such instinctual reactions. Instead, the stallion raised into a half rear as she ripped out his mane, his feathered hooves lashing out to strike at her shoulder and barrel. He does not soften the blows, should they land. She would feel the full force the same as any enemy that had challenged the Lagoon.

When the General drops back down, he shoves his way forward. His broad chest like a plow as he continues to thrust his way onto her, hoping to overcome her so that she is once again prone on the ground. “Where are they?” he growls at her now, a dangerous light reflecting in his eyes that was well passed their games. “What have you done, Dara?” Tyr had never thought to kill a mare before, but if the viper woman was not careful, she could be the first just as she was the first of everything else in his life.
