Well the only thing that offends me is when young radio pubs keep sayin Im out of the demo even for 'greatest hits (oldies)...now they don't even play 70s music and so most of it to my ears they DO play is unfamiliar.
They just dont' research the market... I've had a bunch of dental work done and when the dental assistant asks what I wanna hear, I say 60s and 70s. Alexa plays the best of the genres, and I'll be damned but every one of those masked but cute 25 year old assistants knows the lyrics and timing on every single one of those songs.
THEY're not out of the demo. I ask em what station they listen to and they say 'any of em'. Whats clear to me is that radio's just not doing anything uniquely to attract young adults. Today's music' shit and so all stations sound alike.
