Should ve easy to find out... call MARC, the MidAmerica Regional Council downtown at about 8th and Broadway. They'll know how many overnight hotel rooms and restaurants Royals games draw.
There will be other impacts, speficically downtown parking, traffic control, access to Children's Mercy at 33rd and Gillham and the Hallmark complex and shopping centers across the street. Ballgame parking could extend to the Hallmark area that has a lot of pavement used by Halls, offices, the hospital's satellite parking, bus traffic, the exhibition halls downtown. Apartment living, and a bunch of hotels by Blue Springs that wont have baseball business. Marc will know about all of that; urban planning and transportation is what they do.
