Ya know those of us finally coming back to the world in 1971 from Sea-Tac to Downtown Airport were greeted with protestors and people mocking us in uniform. American soldiers are used to anti war protestors.
Too many cops arent willing to risk their lives even for school children. What fireman wouldn't have gone in there had it been a horrible fire. We got two kinds of cops, those who will draw and fire if they feel 'their lives are danger' but its a rare one that they'll show the heroics of a US soldier.
One commander didn't realize school shootings call for storming the building, not waiting. That training failure will bother him, and the parents of dead children for the rest of their lives.
Tough that this lesson was so costly.
But do we have enough dead kids now to control 18 year olds buying large quantities of ammo? And enforcing the laws we have, and rebanning large capacity weapons.
SCOTUS needs to redefine "regulated militia' in a way that doesn't roll over for the NRA. We've already stolen all the angry indians land, the Brits aren't coming back like they did in 1812, and there aren't many bears in the woods.
Theres no reason paramilitary weapons are allowed in the hands of anyone who's not part of a formal regulated militia. Replies: There have been no replies.
