The power of the WWW! I made contact today with Col Martin Travers RRF, a former Pl Comd who is currently touring Guyana. I thought LF's would be interested in his FB post of Kaieteur Fall�s and the condition of the late Cpl. Peter Singleton�s grave (formerly Signal Platoon)
"Big thanks to the Guyana Defence Force for the 150-mile Skyvan flight from Georgetown to Kaieteur national park today. At this time of year (the latter part of the rainy season), the park�s famous waterfall is at its most impressive - a single drop of 740 ft (5 x Niagara, 2 x Victoria Falls), made even more awesome by the terrain, insect-eating plants, thick jungle and of course the journey. I am very privileged to be here and soften the blow of missing the Jubilee celebrations at home.

I stumbled across the grave of 22056565 Cpl Singleton LF at the British Military Cemetery in Georgetown. I was planning to research this when I get back, so I was interested to hear the history if you know. Sadly, the cemetery is in a sorry state, I�ll investigate that as well."
I have replied to Col Martin and informed him of my Guyana article which covers many aspects of his ongoing visit. Les 6th June 2022
