CHARITABLE ADVERTISING on Web Site There are many worthwhile charitable causes in existence, but we can only accept sponsorship or fundraising efforts on Fusilier Association websites, that specifically support approved Fusilier charities. This essentially means that it is acceptable to use these pages to seek sponsorship for The Fusiliers Aid Society (which includes Fallen Fusiliers), and The Fusilier Memorial fund only. We now have our own dedicated justgiving site (http://www.justgiving.com/fusiliersaidsociety), which you can use to help raise money for your cause. If you let RHQ (Asst Regt Sec) know the specific cause you are raising money for, it will be directed to the correct fund. Messages soliciting sponsorship for causes or charities other than the Fusilier ones mentioned above should not be placed on the message board and may be removed by the Webmaster. FUSILIERS COCKTAIL PARTY � now postponed to 21 July
In the light of the decision by the RMT to call a national rail strike, probably including signallers, on Thursday 23 June, we have had to make the difficult decision to postpone the Cocktail Party. Please see a revised calling notice below. If you were already attending on 23 June, you will have received a note from me. Please reply to that note � there is no need to reapply for tickets.
We are clearly hoping that industrial action will not scupper this one.
The Regimental Cocktail Party will be held outside RHQ at HM Tower of London on Thursday 21st July 2022, 1830 to 2030 hours.
If you wish to attend this new date, please apply for tickets as soon as possible. The process is set out below.
Tickets: Send an email with your name, as well as the full names of any guest, to me on asstregtsec@thefusiliers.org
Then make a BACS payment to the account below, using your surname as the reference. Note that no physical tickets will be issued, but your names will be held on the master list. Attendance is only confirmed once payment is received. The last order date for tickets is 1600hrs on Thursday 14 July 2022.
Serving FUSILIER Regular and Reserve FUSILIER Officers: Up to 2 tickets at �15 per head. Any excess tickets are available at �20 per head.
All others: Tickets for all others will be �20 per head.
BACS payment (preferred) to be made to the Fusiliers Fund: Sort Code: 30-93-23, Acct no: 01585608, using your surname as the reference (eg *Surname*CP22). Cheques should be made payable to Fusiliers Fund and sent to me at RHQ.
Payment must be made in advance, or entry will be refused.
Please note that entry to The Tower will be not before 1815hrs and will be via the Middle Drawbridge. Please note that there is no parking available at The Tower. Please also note that in the event of inclement weather, you should bring an umbrella.
