There were quite a few transferred over from 1LF Quebec Bks CO Jim Smith in 1963-4 to 1RF Belfast Bks Osnabruck CO Willie Taylor.(of Arnhem Fame) The Bks were about 3 miles apart by Road.Of the 10 or so Transferred to B coy 1RF I new them all,7 of them Bunked in my room in BCoy.(it was non stop laughter all night every night. Dave Holland was a Real Life Comedian from Liverpool the others got Bunks in other BCoy Rooms in Belfast Bks. There were quite a few of them because some went to A & CCoys.A Coy was OC Maj Guy.(later Maj David Woodford/later Maj Gen)'A'CSM Lorie Payne (went down to C/Sgt didnt have his 1st Class RAEC Education Certificate but went back up to WO11 again a few months later.'B'Coy Maj Tony Teague MC. CSM Noddy Bateman.'C'Coy was OC Maj Webster(later Maj Gen) CSM Tom Coward.(later CSM 'B'Coy) Noddy got married to the Bn WRVS Lady & was posted to RHQ Tower. Its strange but I only remember 3 names. Dave Holland Brian Roffey Dave Beresford. (Ithink). (I married my wife in Quebec Bks Chapel Nov 1966).
