On thinking out my agreement with you on China, I'd only have doubts about that when I look at China's history.
Their culture has shown no signs of imperialism over the centuries. They are traditionalists; they didn't invade Vietnam, they just want Taiwan and Mongolia back and a handful of islands.
We sons of the British are the world's imperialists. We meddle in everyone's affairs and internal urges for isolationism never last long. Replies: There have been no replies.
