Boss's Decree

"For every brother you bring to our
midst, you may keep a trinket all to
yourself. She will not be sullied or traded, unless you deem otherwise. But should you bring a mare here without a new brother first, then I will consider her property of the Lagoon as a whole
and do with her as I see fit." - Garmr

Rules

• The Lagoon is where homeless stallions come to live as a brotherhood. Mares may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Soldiers keep mainly to fighting, Thieves keep mainly to raiding, and Associates may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Marauder or Boss for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Boss maintains order within the Lagoon and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Lagoon works on the Rules page.

• Upon election, the Boss can issue a rule for members to follow during their tenure. It is up to leadership to enforce.

OOC: Older thread, but I wanted to write Parvati's ending to it for her drama :P.

cause you're on your own in the real world

She was in danger. It was unfortunate for Parvati that her sense of danger was this low. She had stolen a stallion from the Lagoon before by the way of battle, but she has also waltzed right into the Lagoon afterward with no worries. A couple of times she has been in the Lagoon just chatting away with the stallions and nothing bad had happened! She had even come searching for her prize after he didn't show up right away. Carbon finally showed up, briefly, but it was enough time to add his handsome face to the list of Devi's fathers. Now she was on a mission to pull all of the stallions into the responsibility of raising their child. Every single one of them. Frey would be first as she attempts to bully the very tall stallion into coming home with her. His response was not what she wanted to hear.

Before she could say anything further or get any closer, the giant General of the Lagoon bursts from the shadows. His massive form blocks her vision of Frey, which only angers her more, so she tries to peer around him desperately. There was no way this could just end here! A squeal leaves her lips as Tyr nips her forehead. This sends her stepping back quickly to get out of the stallion's reach as he tells her to leave. Parvati shakes her head with a snort of frustration. It was wrong of her, but there was no way she could control the anger now. "I've finished you before!" She shouts as she recalls their last battle when she defeated the beast and took Carbon from him. She had the mind to do it again right now, but this time to take Frey as her prisoner.

"I have come for Frey. To bring him to his child, the one he decided never to come to see," she spat. Perhaps Frey didn't realize their coupling has resulted in a foal? No, he had to have known! He probably knew better than herself being a stallion of the Lagoon. Parvati breathes heavily with adrenaline as a certain scent engulfs her. Suddenly Frey was no longer the horse of interest. Her eyes widen as her head turns slowly to see Orphiel. The expression on his face...she has never seen him like at her like that before. The cremello stallion turns away from her and walks away. Her heart slowly rips watching him, but at the same time, she yearns to race after him to explain. What was he thinking? Taking a glance back at Tyr, she knows he was ready to beat her up at this point, she decides to use this moment to escape. She turns and races in the opposite direction of all of them.

It would take some maneuvering to escape two grown stallions chasing after her (if they decided to chase), but she never looked back to find out. She just ran as if her life depended on it until she found the sea to take her home.
