Danger. Danger. Tension and danger. Something hangs in the space between, fills it. Something so thick, so dense that it could be cut with a knife. They’re both strung tightly, a spring threatening to release at any moment. Her hooves scrape against the ground as she lunges in his direction, teeth glimmering and flashing in the fading sunlight. He’s mocking her– how dare he. How fucking dare he. There’s something that courses in her system, running too hot to handle. She’s too hot to handle, and cold all at once. Bane wants to catch his flesh in her teeth, to rip and tug. She means to do harm.
“Do you have to be such a jackass, or is this your idea of fun?” It’s venomous. Every bit of her… venomous. If looks could kill, Bane would have turned the ragged man to stone on the spot. Violence courses in her system, thick and hot. Instead of retreating as he pushes into her space, Bane makes to close the gap even more. A flash of teeth, striking out. Close, but if he wanted to be close then she would undoubtedly hurt him. She’d hurt him just as she’d hurt every other last godforsaken soul that had the unpleasant fate of being too close.
“I’m a mare, you’re a dickhead.” It’s every bit as cold, as livid. The words are harsh in her throat, in her chest. Something even brighter, even more angry, even more sick flashed in her gaze. “What good is havoc if you’re not the one wreaking it yourself.” It’s judgemental, but Bane doesn’t give a fuck. She remains close, still within striking distance. Tone venomous, but a clear and insistent challenge. No, she wasn’t going to back down. Not here, not now, and not ever.
