Dear Dennis:

First congratulations on the announcement of a new addition to the Laverick family. Great news indeed regards to all. I trust mother and baby are doing well.

Questions: Not wishing to repeat myself have RFCA explained (either orally or in writing) why they have appeared not to have carried out their clearly mandated maintenance responsibilities for the Drill Hall? And why was the Drill Hall shut suddenly without a migration plan for units pre-announced? Can you see the MoD realistically stumping up an additional �3m or so? Additionally, RFCA planned G4 maintenance costs will have spiraled this FY. I assume budgetary allocation would have been planned for in earlier financial years but was RFCA's crystal ball dropped? Something does not add up here - my friend. You have my wholehearted support from Poland. Furthermore, I just wonder if the current inflationary pressures, increase in BoE interest rates, and high cost of heating allocated for RFCA in the FY years 2022/2023 have been simply overwhelmed. A decision to make efficiencies may have contributed to this sad situation. Remember Dennis, the demise of 2 RRF there is no place in today's army for sentimentality, I'm informed. Stay well - Les
