I am the monster in the woods;

It would be a lie to say that he did not feel some sense of jealousy at the closeness with which Parvati acted towards the spotted stallion. Especially after that rather boisterous display of claiming him that day on the beach. He had merely come for a visit, how was he to know that he would be met by another pretty face? Hell he still wanted that girl. Too bad he had no idea where to find her. Perhaps time would tell and once more she would appear through the trees like she had done that day. Without a fight, he allowed Parvati to claim him, well, allowed her to think she claimed him. It was not like he really had anywhere else to go right away. Rougaru was gone to gods only know where and mother had long since taken Alpha and vanished into the sea. What did he have to hold him to Paradise?

The contorted grimace on her face soothes him and what anger caused his skin to prickle seems to melt away. She smirks but refuses to rise to his bait. Irritating. He had almost been ready for another fight. Instead she tosses her head and laughs, flipping her tail playfully across her curvy hips. Dark ears pin backwards as he lifts his proud head suspiciously. What was the game she was trying to play now? She remarks that only one of the foals here was his and despite his best attempt to remain nonchalant, he feels the tension building once more within his muscles. A hard snort blasts into the thin air as he grinds his teeth tightly behind closed lips. Only one of them was his. That meant there was another that marked her as his own. That she was not his alone as he imagined before. Of course it was mere fairytale hopes that said she would be his princess alone. Clearly she had not cared to find him anymore than he had cared to search her out. Truth be told, Devi was a mere pawn to be used in his favor. He had no idea what being a sire meant nor did he see the real need to. Thats what mares were for anyway. Mothers and caregivers. Maybe thats why the fact that she ruled a herd of her own(stallions mostly) irked him so.

But the rising irritation and jealous stills as she speaks again. The words cause his golden eyes to widen and his broad head to lift in surprise. He had known she was bold, hell their coupling had been all clumsy fire and brimstone but he liked to imagine he had mellowed out some and he was sure she would have. Most mares with experience as mothers tended to do that. To hear the words fall from her lips in invitation was…. Well, unusual.

Were he wiser, he might have thought through the urgency in her words or the way she pressed her supple hip so forcefully against him. He might have noticed the staleness of her heat or the gleam in her dark eyes that she batted up at him from beneath the thick layer of lashes. But Loupgaru is not a wise old wolf. He is a pup just entering into prime and having spent the last few weeks pent up in the Inlet with no outlet for his raging hormones, the offer seemed too delicious to question. She offers to introduce him to Devi, but the urgency of her touch and the sweet aroma that surrounds her is enough to cause him to forget the child even exists. Without question (because who would look a gift horse in the mouth) he is upon her. A scream of rage tears from his lungs as he lunges towards her with determination in the set of his jaw. Despite the invitation she lay before him, he finds his forelegs holding her tightly beneath him. The beast surges beneath the primal need to procreate and his jaws open to grip her neck, savoring the flavors of her skin as they coat his salivating tongue.

It does not take him long to find his release and a few delicious moments later he find himself wobbling back to four legs with a satisfied smirk on his lips. ”Bet your little boy toy can’t do that.” he huffs, flicking his cream and white tail once. He stands silently as he catches his breath, savoring the warm flush of his skin that mounting Parvati again brought to him. Tinuvel might be an island of ice and snow but he was learning that perhaps this was how best to keep warm. The beast found it hard to fault him.
