Her ears perked forward, catching the annoyed sounds he initially made before answering with a weak retort. A shocked laugh bellowed out of her, continuing on as he lay down, slowing to a giggle as she walked around to his other side so it was harder for him to turn his head and look away. Still laughing slightly, she told him “ That was SO stupid. But man, I needed a laugh.” Without asking she settled herself a few feet away, bending down on her knees and letting the rest of her body follow in a soft thud. Her brown eyes looked over him, and with the whites of them always showing- something specific to her breed-, it made her look more crazy than curious.
“I’m Mathilde, by the way. What’s your name?” Without waiting for a response she continued on, “ I just washed up a couple of days ago. No idea where we are. Do you?” She sighed, shaking her head then lowering her muzzle down to the grass. Without lifting her head she continued on, her words sounding somewhat slurred from not being able to fully move her jaw, “ Also, there’s absolutely nothing wrong with my face. I’m fucking stunning,” looking at him accusingly. “You’re probably just jealous,” she huffed sarcastically. Poor, poor Mathilde; why wasn’t this man at the ground kissing your striped hooves. ‘Beats me’ she answered herself.
Pausing her one sided conversation, she looked at her surroundings, still without lifting her head. She was exhausted, something she hadn’t realized until laying down next to whoever this guy was. Not knowing him, she was too wary to feel comfortable falling asleep beside the larger equine, but she was just… so… tired… Her eyes drooped and she dozed lightly off. Man, he was so boring that he was putting her to sleep.
