a lost boy

Kuba

Stallion | 3yrs | Kladruber | 16.2h wfg | Black

The boy continued to cry, thinking about home and how much he wanted to go back. He was not one for adventure or the unknown. He'd rather go back to the comfort of familiar, whether he enjoyed that familiar or not. While he did enjoy the creature comforts the two-legged beings gave him, such as grain and grooming with those weird things they pushed along his body, he did not miss the judgement of his parents or constantly letting them down. He supposed it wasn't their fault they were never happy with him; he wasn't the best. The black colt was unsure of himself and it showed in his movement and manners.

He sniffled at the thought when he was abruptly interrupted by a HUGE stallion who must've been hidden by the tall grasses. The scarred brute towered above the folded up onyx boy and he whimpered in fear. "P... puh... please don't hurt me!" he mewled out, but just as quickly as the other had gotten up to scowl at him he had turned and lay himself back down. Kuba felt the earth thud as the massive stranger hit the ground. Lips quivering, he tried to speak to the roan disrupter. "I'm... I'm sorry," sniffle, "for bothering you." He sniffles again. "I'm just... I'm all alone and... and..." Great, heaving sobs burst out before he could finish his sentence. Instead, he threw out the final words between them. "And scared!" sob "And lonely!" sob "And I just-" sob "wanna go HOME."

A few moments pass as he tried to gather himself, blubbering into his tucked legs. Taking a few, deep breaths he manages to quiet himself down. Snot running out of his nose, he wipes it on the grass nearest his crumpled body. Embarrassed, he is sure that the older man won't want anything to do with him, but Kuba tries anyway, hoping against hope that somebody, anybody would be willing to help him in any way. "I'm Kuba, by the way." He pauses here, giving a chance to the other to speak, then adds, "I washed up here during winter and I'm still all by myself." Large brown puppy-dog eyes look toward the other earnestly for anything he has to offer.
