The boy's bashful response made Rilke's heart swell further, and he decided he wanted to take this boy- and his heavily pregnant mother- under his care. He envisioned a future in which they could have a pseudo family of their own making, and the idea of foals running around brought him a joy he had not felt for quite some time. If he could smile from ear to ear he would have, but with the corners of his lips lifting as far as they could go he went to affectionately bump the boy with his muzzle, and replied to his thank you with "Of course, Kestrel." The mare bubbled over once again with an unhinged joy of her own, and the stallion let the moment wash over him where sadness had no room to fill. 'Was this what the future could be?' he questioned silently. It was a dangerous hope but one in which he could not fight off. Yes. This could be his life, filled with love once again, and he would be brave enough to let it in. Hurt would no longer run his life, his decisions, his relationships.

He chuckled freely and tossed his head playfully around, mane flying and falling on both sides of his muscled neck as he stomped his hoof in coltish excitement. At the boy's willingness to give Rilke an out, he nipped at him teasingly then shifted to the side to avoid being tagged back. "Lead the way Talya! I'd love to see your favorite spots," then looking to her darker son, "And if you think there is anything I should know, I would appreciate the information." No time would be wasted; he could bond with and enjoy being around these two who chose to stay while also learning more about his new home. Eyes filled with a warmth of belonging as he looked at the pair, soon to be trio, as he waited for them to lead the way.
