White-rumped Sandpiper

Today at the Bracebridge Ponds there was a White-rumped Sandpiper and five Pectoral Sandpipers on the north side of the sludge island in cell 3. Two Greater Yellowlegs were calling as they flew around, but appeared to keep moving off to the southwest. There was a Pied-billed Grebe and five American Coots in cell 1. There were also several ducks including American Wigeon, Lesser Scaup, Northern Pintail, American Black Duck, Wood Duck, Blue-winged Teal, Green-winged Teal, Bufflehead, and Northern Shoveler. A flock of Evening Grosbeaks were calling as they flew past, headed southwest. An Eastern Bluebird was north of cell 4 and three American Pipits were foraging nearby along the roadway.
