I'M THE SHADOW, YOU'RE THE LIGHT

BARDOUL THE GHOUL
hound x unknown ardennes x friesian 16.2hh black, heavily scarred

Her teeth sunk into the soft cheek of his flesh and he hissed, but the cocksure smile did not fall from his face. His ears flattened against the curl of his neck and he lifted his head, baring his own teeth. She pulled away after biting him and he followed, light dancing in his eyes. "A tongue as sharp as your teeth." Bardoul comments with a hum. Blood drips from his cheek, some rolling down his neck and other drops falling directly to the ground. A single drop rolls down his face and he can taste it on his tongue. "Darling, I think you owe me an apology."

"Show me you are worthy of my time mutt or run away with your tail tucked."

He laughed, boisterous and loud, as she twirled about, kicking out at him. He turned, taking the brunt of the kick in haunches before dropping them and spinning to meet her face to face. "Careful dear, you might hurt my feelings." Sarcasm drips from each syllable. He holds her gaze, eyes narrowing, and grin widening. She was fun. He could appreciate a cat and mouse game...as long as he was the cat.

Bardoul moved forward again, once again creeping into personal space that did not belong to him. He pushed a heavy snort from his quivering nostrils as he once again reached for her neck. Though instead of a inquisitive sniff, he grasped at her mane to give it a hard yank.

The game would be fun until it wasn't. And for now it was still fun. He pressed forward again, pressing his chest against her and challenging her to meet him hoof for hoof. She was not much shorter than him, making it easy to snap his teeth toward her back as he moved slowly in a circle. He was no fool, and it was clear he was avoiding remaining within kick range for too long. But he wasn't so smart that he avoided her limbs altogether.

"So you think I'm a dog," he hissed, nearing her ear. "You have no idea." Hound was not known for his children being particularly nice. They all had the beast, of varying degrees. Bardoul was a bastard at best. And at worst...well, that remained to be seen.
