This essentially means that it is acceptable to use these pages to seek sponsorship for The Fusiliers Aid Society (which includes Fallen Fusiliers), and The Fusilier Memorial fund only. I take your point but such action as you propose, would I suggest, lead us into the field of unenforceable contracts.
An unenforceable contract is one that is valid and therefore capable of producing a legal relationship between the parties, but cannot be legally enforced by one party or the other.
Any reputable Funeral Director asked to enter into such arrangements would undoubtedly politely tell you to go away or words to that affect!
As you said, it's the way of the world these days which in many ways we have to reluctantly accept. I think it far better that we remain polite and open in our relationships with others and continue to provide instructions as to how the Regalia should be handled etc. We can only hope that our advice is heeded but also accept that on occasions the standards of others may fall below our own. As I have said to Vince Moran on a number of occasions, lifes' a bitch at times, we just have to get on with it. Going�down the road of " legalising " our associations and contacts would in my view be a step to far. It's not what we are about. In respect of� renumeration etc., David knows that it is always open to him to recover his costs from Website Funds should he so wish.
