"You look like kin." Louis couldn't help but furrow his brow at the statement, however slight. He didn't see much of a similarity between the two of them, if at all but he decided it was better to accept than pry. He simply gave him a nod of understanding...even if he didn't quite.
The question of who he was, well that was a big ask. He supposed it was as simple as asking his name, but it was much more than that. Who was he really? Louis, son of Gael. Louis, son of Clarity. No, neither of those sounded right, let alone felt right. Louis had never really considered who he was beyond his father's son. They were on the move so much that he had never really had the time to devote to figuring out who he was.
Though a name was a start.
There was a moment of time where he briefly considered giving himself a new name. Something that was truly his own. Ultimately, he chickened out. Mostly because the only name he could think of on the spot was 'Tree.' And definitely not at all because he was looking at one.
"Oh, I'm Louis." He smiles, reserved and slightly nervous, but friendly all the same. There was never time to make friends or let alone talk to others near his age while they were constantly on the move. Being home (was it really home?) made him feel it might be safe to make a friend. Though he wasn't sure if that's what Finley was interested in considering the positon of his ears and the scowl on his face.
Louis decided to try.
"What's your name?" His ears flicked forward, poking out from his dense forelock like a creature poking from it's den in the morning's first rays of sun. "Are you looking for someone? Maybe I can help." Whatever quest Finley had found himself on, Louis decided it was better than following his dad for the next few hours.
