She felt lost and displaced. She's been struggling to be in a herd, and it never works out. What was that last herd she was in? Zev? Or was it Balor? She doesn't remember. She was too upset with Balor's death and their daughter running away from the islands. Her daughter was furious about Balor's death and her mother's family history. She didn't want to be involved with her mother anymore and went into the ocean and never came back. This put another huge strain on Adonia, she just wanted a family and maybe a lover, but it never worked out. Adonia kept thinking to herself that she was cursed or just having bad luck. This caused her to be a hermit mostly. She was scared to make contact with other horses, but she made contact once with a stallion that gave her a son, Íñigo. But whatever happened to that cream stallion? She doesn't remember his name. She wanted to hopefully make contact with someone again. She used to be a fun and lively mare, but not anymore. Her cousin's betrayal and Balor's death, her daughter running away ruined her personality, and she became depressed. She wanted her son to interact too. But with whom? She doesn't care.
It was a chilly day in the meadow as she watched her son running around. She was a few feet away from him, watching him closely. Adonia could smell a few scents nearby, but she didn't care. She was too busy focusing on her son. "Mommy! Look how fast I can go!" her son yelled and took off running. "Hey! you're not supposed to run away!" She yelled and ran away. She caught up to him quickly and stood behind him. There was another horse in front of them, and Adonia got nervous. "Sorry if we disturb you, my son wanted to go for a run." She said. |
