I am not in favor of 3 different sets of rules for a class that is hurting for car counts. I totally realize that costs are a major factor for the creation of NESS. However, the 350 winged supers/crate motors are fast and much more economical to run. Great class to start in supers or for those that wish to race with lower costs involved. I would hope someday that MSS/ISMA and Oswego could agree on a set of rules so that major change-overs to race and be competitive at events become a thing of the past. Seems they are helping each other with schedules now so that they do not interfere with each others events. That, with similar rules will help car counts. However, inflation needs to be brought under control so the cost of travel can be reduced. Fuel costs alone (especially diesel) for hauling are terrible. Not only that, extra vehicles are needed to bring the crew. The answer maybe for all to convert to NESS rules. However, I feel that would take away from the supers as we know them.
