He had heard his uncle call from over the expanse south of where he stayed between the territory of the Hills and Dunes. It was him who provoked his brother into the race down towards ‘Home’. The only reason for a Sheikh to call was because somehow there was a Home to return to, afterall.
He bites his red brother in the shoulder where one small, almost single-hair, white star was, and skips away before charging down into the land of loose earth and changing sandscape.
He can see his wilder uncle throwing himself in some kind of mad dance around his other Mira and it makes his young-enough spirit spike enough that he lets loose a shrill call to his family as he kicks a bit to the side in his gallop to throw his red brother off his pace.
"SOUL! BLOOD! SHU!" he shouts to them, his interesting formation of language breaking the usualness of the greeting. He always had been strange in communicating as a boy, though usually that was seen as because he was believed to be stoic or philosophical rather than damaged goods. Soul -- the first of their family to be sewn together by the universe. Blood because Antares’s mane was the color of blood and his face and leg were marked by bloodmarks. Shu because his uncle was believed by the people of Mira to be the flesh vessel of the god itself.
He does pull himself up and not join in the jovial goofing of his much older uncle, snorting at the silliness while knowing Aldebaran rarely did such things without purpose. His crescent marked forehead twists as he shakes himself in the damp of his charges’ sweat and flings a bit of the foam onto his red twin. "Home. Together. Miles." he says this one thing, knowing his brother will appropriately translate at least this first greeting to “I am glad you are home and we are together after so long.”
