Yesterday afternoon my neighbour alerted me to a Hawk calling from the top of a large Maple between our driveways. I observed it for a few minutes as it continued to call before flying away.
It was a female Coopers Hawk. I think it was calling to try to flush birds and an opportunity for pursuit. In downtown Barrie. Replies: There have been no replies.
