During my trips tp Bworth at times there a number of curfews due to malay/ indian killing one and other. I did about 3 months with with 14 Sqn RMAF at Simpang and a number of my students had been shot down along the borderduring opps in the middle late 70,s. Myself and Grumpy Grimmer crewed, as instructors,a 14 Sqn Aircraft dropping paras,all rigged with live ammo etc,along the border at a dz called Bukit Besi. We were told that we were never on the aircraft, ok.
