Are we so bereft of talent in this nation that people were watching “Dick Clark’s Rockin’ New Year’s Eve” on NYE 2022-2023? I cruised past it on TV Guide, but I wouldn’t even open it. I wasn’t interested in Dick Clark 10+ years ago, when he was doing those shows live!!!
TV options? Hmmm… Maybe you’d like to watch 40-plus-year-old episodes of “Twilight Zone” or some washed out old country-and-western singer singing his or her worn-out old songs.
Is this the best we can do? TV Wasteland, more so than ever.
