The twins were too eager to explore more of the islands and so they went across from Luthein to the Crossing. As soon as they reached the shore that afternoon, Kachina took off frolicking before her brother could say anything. Her brother could tell that she was happy and did not want to say anything. He would follow her in the distance and watch her closely. The issues back at Punt put him on alert and made him suspicious of anyone. His sister was somewhat affected by the issues. She was scared of being alone and was worried that a lion would kill her or a disgruntled horse kidnapping her. But hopefully, she didn't have to worry about that here. She wanted to make friends. Her friends were killed and she was forced to look at their remains every day. Kachina hated it, but the twins had no power over what was going on in Punt. So they left.
Kachina could smell different scents and she was excited. She wanted to say hi to one of the equines she could smell, but she got distracted. She stopped dead in her tracks and was astounded by the waterfall before her. It had water falling and it was making noise. She had never seen this before, The closest thing to it was rain. But it wasn't raining. She stepped into the pond where the water was falling into it, and she took a sip of water before staring at the waterfall. She was mesmerized by it. It wasn't before long that something caught her attention. Kachina smelled a scent and it was near her. It did not belong to her brother, and she was slightly relieved. She turned her head away from the waterfall and looked around. Her ears swirled to the noises that were being made by the stranger that might be approaching her. "Hello? Who's there? I know you're there."
