Seems to me that one voice has been left out of the talks of re-location of Royals Stadium to North Kansas City:
North Kansas Citians.
After more than fifty years of living in the greater Kansas City area, I have sold my house and moved into the city-within-a-city of North Kansas City, Missouri.
With pre-season, regular season and (hopefully) post-season, we could be looking at 100 MLB games played here in a full season. Traffic, summer concerts and the bars and casinos Sherman et al have planned could easily turn this town into a carnival.
No, thanks. That would not be the quiet little retirement community I moved here for. I suggest Mister Sherman move the Royals to a small town in Johnson County. Maybe Olathe…
