How have you been?
Sorry it took me a while to answer.
It was actually very exciting the last couple of weeks seeing the players that had come here for the first time starting to get the hang of things. As far as players trying to be top dog, there were a few like Zulaica and Laduche and maybe even Arrieta who are trying to be the veteran presence on the roster due to their experience and exposure before this Dania tournament. With the other players, there was a combination of debutantes playing for the first time trying to figure out the quinela system as well as players like Iturbide, Goenaga, Bailo and Arta who had been there before and were confident against these newer players.
For me personally after the initial qualifying was done, a few weeks had passed and I was spending a lot of time in the broadcast booth with Dave Lemont and Dave Lemmon and I was truly enjoying that part most of all of my tasks.
It was fun for me to be in the broadcast booth and being a part of that side of the show.
I also spent a lot of time with these young players which was very invigorating and exciting throughout the season.
It was truly a pleasure to spend the two months with this group of players and I hope that they feel the same way. Replies:
