His nod was accepted as agreement, and Maziel smiled and let her body relax once more against his. Even the exaggerated swell of her belly felt briefly more manageable and less awkward, pressed to Fell’s curves and against the strength of his figure. Maziel let her mind stray to the inevitable future when she and Mariael would cross paths again, then smiled as she considered the stallion - Suileman - who had been with her sister. She envisioned a pleasant day, hoping whatever stress her sister had felt toward Fell would be gone when next they all crossed paths.
A content breath left her in a sigh, then Maziel bent her cheek in and reached to rub her lips over Fell’s coat. “Would you walk me back to the herd?” She asked. They likely weren’t too far off from everyone, but it’d be easier (and quicker) for Maziel to simply follow Fell’s lead to make her way back to them all rather than picking her way carefully to find them. “I’m afraid if I stay here much longer,” she paused to yawn and laughed shortly after, “I’m going to fall asleep.”
Not that there would be anything wrong with tucking up against Fell’s side to nap, of course… Maziel even smiled somewhat more at the thought as she reached to gently bump her nose against him. Her hooves pressed into the ground to slowly turn her (now much wider) frame about so that she could stand properly beside him. Maziel knew the importance of a role such as herd leader - she would never forgive herself if it was a moment of hers that kept Fell from being able to protect another of the Bay herd.
(ooc: if you want we can consider this thread wrapped here? unless you have a reply you wanna do, by all means feel free! I figure we can just say they haven’t gone to the inlet yet since there’s been some challenges issued to the bay the past couple seasons and maziel has been too worried about someone coming for the herd when they’re gone, if that works!)
