She aches for him, the wild thing she witnesses on the beach as the eldest son herds away those that might get caught up in the fury and flurry of maddened hoofbeats muffled by sand. The dunalino roan that returns lingering and waiting until the worst of the thrashing had abated. She knows her place, the fact that she is not worthy to reach out with any such grace. The unseeing eyes that lead the other mare to remain still is probably to her blessing - considering the madness that courted their beloved husband. It would potentially spare her the worst kind of lashing.

The second woman that arrives is more demanding, more willing to risk the fact he was in no state to be forced to relinquish his anger or despair. His First Wife had been taken and his other wives-- and concubines, it seemed-- were desperate to reassure, to push their relief into a world that clearly had no room for such things. It makes her ache for him, that he had no one willing to let him feel his loss without applying some rushed salve. She looks out to where she had watched the Salem stallion retreat.

Quietly, she ducks her head, retreating back into the shadows - only aware barely how the world outside her own desert homeland was run. It was a higher power that could help her husband now… a greater threat than even Fell himself - if she was not mistaken - that lived in the westernmost reaches.
