Slipping away from the Desert mare had been so easy feat. She was rather keen and swift, but she was none of those things asleep. Devi had waited long after nightfall before trying to sneak away. She had no plans to escape – yet, not until she understand the mare reasonings for taking her. She would also like to know what gives the mare her strength considering she defeated her warrioress of a dam. Parvati did not lose often though it seemed to be happening more often as late. Devi could imagine this was disappointing to her mother. Parvati once spoke of defeating a stallion twice her size who held some status over the Lagoon once.
She really didn’t expect anyone to be around at this hour, but she was surprised to find the meadow not empty. Devi slows her pace as she reaches the opening of the vast meadow to find one long stallion among the darkness. His coat was a light golden with some white marking his backside and legs. Only when she got closer could she see the white moved more over his body than she originally thought. He was a giant, only growing taller the closer she got, he was much larger than herself. Devi was born the very image of her mother, but as she grew she took on a more heartier shape. She still looks a lot like her mother, but her bone structure suggests her father was more on the heavier side.
The slight feathering around her hooves, the thickness of her neck, but this stallion was much too young to be him. It was her guess this stallion was born around the same time she was. She had nothing to fear chatting him up until morning when her captor found her again. ”Hello there handsome! Where are you from?” A bright smile is upon her lips as she comes around to the stallion’s front.
