Kachina comments on her name, but in truth, Scorpio found Kachina odd. The bay mare was acting like a young filly though she was grown. Not quite as old as Scorpio was, but still a filly trapped in a young mare's body. Sokar seemed the more mature of the two so she mainly focused on him. It made things easier when he shoos his sister off. As soon as the mare leaves, Sokar explains that she didn't have any friends left because they all had died. Scorpio's eyes venture off to where the mare had once been galloping away from them.

But as Sokar says he will stay her eyes turn back to him. He mentions meeting up with his sister later and telling her the news. "Do you want your sister to find another herd because she annoys you? I'm asking because I have a younger brother who is a moapy mess. He needs someone new to entertain his time." The siblings remind Scoprio of herself and Aries. Her half-brother was the closest family member she had and they have been together since he was born. After their parents left (she claims Aries' dad as her own since her real father was never much in her life) they were left with only one another. Sure they fought sometimes, but their bond was a powerful one. Much like the siblings that had been in front of her.

Their fights may be different than the fights she shared with Aries, but the love was there. Scoprio could see it even as Sokar sends her away. She continues to explain some of her own brother's situation so that maybe Sokar might allow his sister to live with them too. "He was in love with a mare that did not love him back. She left awhile ago with their children without saying goodbye. The loss of a lover is one thing, but to lose your children is a whole other pain. I've been very worried about him." Aries barely even talked to her anymore because of his pain.

"Our family is very close. We have some distant relatives we don't talk to, but my brother Aries and I have always been together since our parents left the islands. We plan to stick together until we die. You and your sister seem close...wouldn't you want the same with her? I know she annoys you, but you are family." If this stallion had any interest in her so needed him to know how important family was to her. If he sister chose to leave on her own that was different. If she happens to find someone new Scoprio could accept that, but she would hope Sokar also held family close to his heart.
