Hael

[HAE el]

no stallion

▻ no children (x no one) ◅

She is a bundle of joy, always enthusiastic - but apparently especially in the spring. The stain of petals short lived and grasses squeegeed of their photosynthesizing agents paints her in a cheerful massacre of the local flora. She is a positive mess; absolutely and uplifting both. She had made a right wreck of the earth, the flora, the general palette of her hide - but the joy and mirth in her voice, her whole being, was undoubtedly worth the destruction.

When her mother is finally down, laughing while she ha-thumped into a puff of pollen that could have set them to sneezing if she wasn’t distracted by a tension in her mother’s face. She only spent a moment concerned about the suspected pain, her muzzle shoved into the soil of one of her self-made furrows, but then her mother is back and her giggles didn’t need to have the thread of tension sewn throughout it.

She rolls the first time slowly, Hael looking with wide eager eyes, jumping up with an extended nose as if to check her proper bathing form… then she jumps up with a squeal as her mother immerses herself into the experience and she cannot say she has ever felt such success until that moment. Walking, jumping her first log, racing her first deer-- none of it. Getting her mommy to roll into the mess of grass and flowers and to see her enjoy it was the most elation she thought she may ever feel.

She squeals, excited as she does roll over and over and over, the dignity of ‘mighty equine’ slipped just a little to show the youthful glee that a good roll could bring. She rights herself, then, and Hael is instantly there, noticing the bleary look in her eyes and the mess of flora tangled every which way in every which place. "See! Now we’re Prairie Fairies!" She squeaks with no small bit of glee, bounding like a fawn in tight circles as her mother gains her equilibrium.

"Do I have something in my mane?" Her mother asks, and she offers a trilling giggle at the little stem oblong against her mother’s ear and face, pouncing her littler legs and feet just so between her mothers fronted ones with a tug that freed the wild thing from it’s place. There were plenty others, after all, fancying up her beautiful dam. "We look the same! More daisy!" She says then, dodging one way to grab a white flower with it’s yellow center and plant it in a whipped up loopdie of the already messy mane. "PERFECT!"
